Between now and Monday, May 31, all of 350.org will be taking a close, hard look at how every department across the organization is spending their budgets.

It's actually one of my favorite times of the year because we get to stack ourselves up against the projections we set at the beginning of the fiscal year. But, here's the hard truth:

We're falling a bit behind where we need to be in order to maintain our projections for the remainder of fiscal year 2021. It's not a major setback: right now my estimates show we're about $21,174 short of where we need to be.

John, we can close this gap over the next few days if we work together. But since we're finalizing the Mid-Year Budget Review this coming Monday at midnight, I need to ask:

Can I count on you to please make your first $3.50 contribution to help us close this gap so we can run the iconic campaigns we need to defeat the fossil fuel industry?

As one of our strongest supporters, it's really important that you know what closing this gap means for all of us here at 350:

1. The amount we raise in the next few days will inform our financial projections for the remainder of the year;
2. These projections fundamentally determine how ambitious we can be with our campaigns and organizing work for the remainder of fiscal year 2021;
3. We're falling behind where we projected we would be at this point by about $21,174.

As you know, a lot of people are struggling to get back on their feet since the start of the pandemic. So if you aren't able to make a contribution today, please know that all of us here at 350 understand and we appreciate all you do for our climate movement.
