Just this past weekend, hundreds of teams from coast to coast to coast joined our National Day of Action to help share our positive plan for a strong middle class. Giving kids a fair start, with more money for families On July 20th the Canada Child Benefit is increasing again, meaning more money for Canadian families! Thanks to the CCB, 9 out of 10 Canadian families have been getting more money to help with the high costs of raising kids, giving parents more help each month for clothing, school supplies, and more. Parents want to give their children the best start in life, and by putting money back into the pockets of Canadian families, we’re making sure that they have the chance to do so. Investing in Affordable Housing All Canadians deserve a safe and affordable place to call home. That’s why the Liberal government is moving forward with Canada’s first-ever National Housing Strategy, a plan to reduce chronic homelessness, create 100,000 new housing units, and remove more than 500,000 Canadians out of housing need.
