Simple words cannot express the joy it's been to spend my life and raise a family with Jennifer. Her kindness, warmth, tenacity, and integrity are always on display -- especially over the past year as we all reckoned with so many historic challenges.

Through it all, she continues to be a powerful advocate for the people of Northern Virginia and a strong and loving mother to our boys. I can only hope our next 20 years together are as wonderful as the last 20.

I'll soon be showing her the birthday card that so many of you signed yesterday. I know she'll be so overjoyed to see the well-wishes of her grassroots supporters, and I want to make the surprise extra special. Jennifer fights so hard for so many of us in the 10th District. She proudly defends our democratic institutions, champions equality, and stands for policies that provide relief and opportunity for the families who need it.

I'm so glad that the people of VA-10 have been able to see how incredible Jennifer is for the past couple of years -- the same incredible person who I'm blessed to call the love of my life.
