We invite you to take part in a virtual young professionals' fundraiser for Congressman André Carson! He will be joined by Congressman Hakeem Jeffries and Damon Dash to talk about everything from politics and current events to hip hop. Damon “Dame” Dash was born in New York City and has worked hard to become a successful American entrepreneur. He is also an executive in the music and film industry.

Representative Hakeem Jeffries represents New York’s 8th Congressional District and has been serving as the chair of the House Democratic Caucus since 2019. He sits on the House Judiciary and Budget Committees. Rep. Jeffries is Chairman of the House Democratic Caucus, having been elected to that position by his colleagues in November 2018. In that capacity, he is the fifth highest-ranking Democrat in the House of Representatives.

Congressman André Carson has dedicated his career to public service as an advocate for Hoosier families. Since being elected to serve the 7th Congressional District in 2008, he has focused on growing the economy, strengthening national security and building a stronger Middle Class. As Chairman of the Counterterrorism, Counterintelligence, and Counterproliferation Subcommittee on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, he plays a vital role in ensuring the US has resources needed to defeat dangerous threats. He also serves on the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure. Before taking office, he served on the Indianapolis City-County Council and worked full-time in law enforcement.
