More than 400 people have been charged for storming the US Capitol thus far, so I wanted to get your opinion on a bill I helped pass in the House: the National Commission to Investigate the January 6 Attack on the United States Capitol Complex Act, which will create a bipartisan commission to fully investigate the events that took place leading up to the January 6 insurrection.
We will never forget the January 6 attack on our democracy, but we also have to make sure that history doesn't repeat itself. That's why I voted for H.R. 3233 -- because without a shared set of facts about what happened that day, we will never be able to move past this dark event.
We need to form this bipartisan investigative commission, but we can't do it without your support. That's why I need to hear from you to know for certain that my district is behind me. Please tell me:
