Dear John — there are no excuses for inaction in the Senate.
The failure of the Senate to advance desperately needed gun safety
legislation is unacceptable. Elected officials who prioritize the NRA's
"guns everywhere" agenda over the will of the American people are ignoring
the safety of their constituents.
But with your help we can still put pressure on the Senate to pass
stronger gun laws this month.
This week Everytown is launching a $200,000 online ad buy urging 14 key
Senators to take action to end gun violence and pass legislation requiring
background checks on all gun sales and a strong red flag law. [ [link removed] ]Donate

[ [link removed] ]Senator McConnell: Inaction is Unacceptable
We're putting extra pressure on Senators Ernst (IA), Gardner (CO), Scott
and Rubio (FL), Tillis and Burr (NC), Alexander (TN), Romney (UT), Cruz
and Cornyn (TX), Portman (OH), Perdue and Isakson (GA), and Senate
Majority Leader McConnell (KY) in their home states. We'll be taking over
homepages of top news sites in each state and running ads like the one
above to keep the pressure on these Senators at this crucial point in the
fight.
And here's the best part: this is just one tactic in our massive,
multi-faceted mobilization to fight for gun safety, with so much more to
come. We're only as strong as the people who support us. That's why I am
counting on your help today.
Sincerely,
Sarah Trumble
