to HFSC: Support changes that allow CUs to serve underserved areas, offer MBL loans
Ahead of today’s House Financial Service Committee hearing to provide oversight
of the nation’s largest banks, NAFCU’s Brad Thaler wrote to the committee to
call for support of the Expanding Financial Access for Underserved Communities
Act – which would make a change to the Federal Credit Union Act that would allow
all types of credit unions to add underserved areas to their fields of membership.
