But we’re not taking our foot off the gas at DNC HQ. Here’s why: Our congressional majorities -- especially in the Senate -- are slim. And we cannot cede a single inch of it to Mitch McConnell or Kevin McCarthy.
The GOP is ready to obstruct the Biden-Harris agenda in Congress and is already attacking voting rights, trans rights, and more on the ground in states. So there’s no more important time than now to start preparing to defend our congressional majority and pick up key state legislatures in 2022.
The DNC announced our largest investment in state parties and the grassroots ever. The historic $23 million investment will ensure states have the data infrastructure, organizing and voter protection staff, and more that they need to combat these Republican schemes and win in 2022.
