I need your help to flip this seat!

Dear John,

One thing is clear: Prince William County and Manassas need better representation in the General Assembly.

My name is Jeff Dove and I am running for the House of Delegates in the 51st District.

The current Delegate in this seat is not seeking re-election as she seeks higher office. But does she really deserve a promotion? Has she been here for the residents of her district or has she been elsewhere this whole time?

Here’s a quote from her on what she has been up to lately-

“We can be on the Eastern Shore one day and the next moment turn around and be in Washington, D.C., in a minute.”

“D.C.?” Why D.C.? Why not the 51st District of Virginia?

I’m running because I’ve always felt a duty to serve.

Democrats, on the other hand, run for something else. Clearly Del. Ayala is a running to please national Democrats in D.C. like Nancy Pelosi and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

So while Virginia Democrats are courting donations from national figures, I am here in Virginia asking Virginians if they can help out my campaign with a contribution of $20, $50, $100, $200, or $500 right now? ([link removed])

As your Delegate I will not look over my shoulder to worry about what’s happening across the Potomac River. I’ll look closely at the 51st District and worry about what’s happening across the James River.

The Democrats don't care about what matters to us here. They have shuttered schools all year!

The insane school closures cannot continue. Check this out from InsideNOVA:

Prince William County Public Schools’ high school graduation ceremonies at Jiffy Lube Live will have unlimited seating for guests, according to an email sent by the school system on Friday, and facemasks will be optional.

These will be the first on-time and restriction-free high school graduation ceremonies Prince William County has had in two years, as those held for the class of 2020 were canceled and later pushed to August due to the coronavirus.

Well, it’s about time.

I feel terrible for our kids for having to endure such a mismanaged pandemic. They missed a lot over the past year and half. One study sad over 1/3 of high school students receiving Fs this year, a huge increase attributed to forced distance learning.

When schools start in the fall every Virginia public school needs to be back on their usual pre-pandemic five day a week schedule. As your Delegate I will work to make that happen.
