Can you save it? Million Dollar Baby is in trouble. She may lose her eye. We’ve had her since she was just a sick little baby calf. Now she needs your help.

My friend, Million Dollar Baby was ripped away from her mother at birth and left to die as a byproduct of the dairy industry, until ARM came to her rescue just in the nick of time.

But Million Dollar Baby is in trouble again. We just left the vet’s office after finding a scary growth in her eye.

The vet has warned us that this could be very serious. She may even lose her eye!

And the costs are already adding up: emergency vet visits, expensive diagnostics, medications…and this is just the start.

Critical Ask: Your help will provide for Million Dollar Baby's urgent medical needs. Please contribute to our Emergency Medical Fund.

You see, there is a reason we called her Million Dollar Baby. She has had to fight for her life more than once.

Unfortunately, it all boils down to Million Dollar Baby’s rocky start in life.

In fact, when she first arrived at the sanctuary, she had endured so much neglect and suffering that our vet didn’t expect her to make it through the night.

She was severely dehydrated, emaciated, and her eyes were almost glued shut from conjunctivitis. Every minute was critical, and her frail body was rapidly shutting down.

But we gave her every treatment we could to save her. No expense was spared, and miraculously she pulled through after several weeks of a rollercoaster recovery.

Now Million Dollar Baby is taking on another health crisis, and we sure didn’t get her this far to let her down now. Please - we need your support now more than ever.

We understand that these are the challenges of providing life-long care to the animals we rescue. Currently, we have over 300 animals to care for at our top-class animal sanctuary.

But it also extremely stressful if we don’t have the resources needed to act immediately on life-saving procedures, like Million Dollar Baby’s looming treatment.

Honestly, the fact of the matter is it isn’t easy, and it’s far from cheap to ensure that all of our residents experience the best quality care, nutrition, or medical care.

That’s why I am reaching out to you. Medical care for the animals is the highest line item in our budget. And we’ve already had an extremely challenging year.

So, I desperately need your support. Your gifts will directly contribute to critical medical needs like:

  • EMERGENCY VET VISIT: an 800-pound cow urgently loaded on a trailer to rush her to the vet hospital. Once safely secured, the vet was able to assess her eye.
  • URGENT DIAGNOSTICS: with a grave concern of a cancerous growth, the vet immediately biopsied her eye and shipped them off to a specialist to assess.
  • TREATMENT: if the tests confirm to be positive for cancer, it could push treatment costs through the roof.

But we must do everything we can to save her eye!

These costs and a recent flood of other residents’ medical needs have completely depleted our medical budget. We need to raise another $6,000 to cover our medical bills – just for this month!

But we can’t do it alone. Every dollar you give is critical and deeply appreciated.

Can you please dig deep to contribute to Million Dollar Baby’s expenses and get her over this health crisis?

We’re counting on your response in the next 48 hours.
