We’ve used the word ‘supervillain’ a lot to describe Carlos Vega — the
challenger who lost in a landslide to District Attorney Larry Krasner two
weeks ago in Philly.

But there is a much larger and MUCH more dangerous supervillain out there,
and they’ve infiltrated just about every level of our political system:

The Fraternal Order of Police.

They’re one of the nation’s largest police unions with virtually unlimited
resources to lobby politicians and buy elections so that their racist,
violent cops are shielded from all accountability.

For DECADES, they’ve gotten away with it. They were deemed untouchable.
But because of YOU and your relentless support for Larry Krasner, we just
dealt a humiliating blow to them.

Now we’re gearing up for three more critical fights in June. We need you
now more than ever,

It’s not an exaggeration — these people are EVIL.

The Philadelphia FOP president called Black Lives Matter protesters “rabid
animals."

The Miami FOP president once said, “act like a thug, you'll be treated
like a thug."

And one of the PACs they bankroll, Protect Our Police, tried to blame
George Floyd for his own murder in a fundraising email.

If the stakes weren’t so high, we’d call them cartoonish villains. But the
stakes ARE high. This group has influenced policy and politicians alike
for a long, long time, and done incredible amounts of harm. And they’ve
been successful too.

But we’ve dealt a decisive blow to them in Philadelphia already. And with
your help now, we can deal another one in several critical upcoming
elections.
