[1]Cori Bush

John, this week
The New Yorker published an article about how progressive icons like Cori
are transforming the Democratic Party.

The article specifically featured Cori and how she defeated an
establishment incumbent in a come-from-behind victory thanks to the
progressive movement. Here's what else the article had to say:

1. Progressives have a plan. They are reshaping the Democratic Party by
putting incumbents on notice and pushing for bold policies that meet the
moment.

2. Progressives and "extraordinary ordinary people" can win elections.
Cori, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Rep. Jamaal Bowman are all proof
— and this faction is only growing.

3. Progressives are already affecting change. It's true! The left-wing of
the Democratic Party "is now contesting for power in ways that were
recently unimaginable."

Cori's working hard for this progressive movement every day, but she needs
this grassroots team to have her back. [ [link removed] ]Can you chip in
$5 so Cori has the funds she needs to help lead the
movement for economic, environmental, and racial justice?

[ [link removed] ]Contribute $5

John, a
once-in-a-generation shift is coming to our political system, and
progressives are ready to move the country to the left and deliver real
benefits like universal health care and green jobs.

Progressives have already brought ideas like the Green New Deal to the
mainstream. And now that Cori and her progressive colleagues are in
Congress, they're not backing down. In Cori's first months in office, she
has already lead the charge to investigate and expel the GOP members of
Congress who attempted to overturn the election and incited a white
supremacist attack, co-sponsored the Green New Deal for Cities alongside
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and is getting ready to introduce a bill that
transforms our public safety system.

[ [link removed] ]John,
will you chip in $5 or
$19.90 (our average donation) to build this progressive movement and keep
Cori in Congress? This movement is 100% people-powered, so Cori is
counting on grassroots supporters like you ahead of our end-of-month
fundraising deadline in five days.

In solidarity,

Team Cori
