The end of spring means there are Iowans across the country that are getting to accept the college degrees, diplomas, and certificates that they’ve earned – congratulations to the graduates of the Class of 2021!

I know that we need to make college more affordable, as more than half of college students in Iowa graduate with some form of student loans.

In Congress, discussions have already begun about expanding college affordability options like Pell Grants, as well as additional measures to ensure we support skills training and apprenticeship programs.
