Citizens for Schimpf

Friend --

It has been another busy week on the campaign trail from Jefferson County to Kane County. I appreciate the support for the campaign from across the state!?

UPCOMING EVENTS

I am excited to invite you to our "Let Freedom Ring" Dinner featuring the Missouri Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft. This event will sell out, so purchase tickets online for the event by clicking here.

IN THE PRESS

This morning I joined Tom Miller on WJPF. We discussed the bipartisan Law Enforcement Coalition I announced last week?that I will utilize throughout the campaign. The coalition includes members across the entire state from different sectors of the law enforcement community.?We also discussed the importance of transparency in government, specifically regarding the budget in Springfield. As Governor, I will veto any legislation that is not passed in a transparent manner! Listen to the interview here.

SIGN OUR PETITION

JB Pritzker believes that his "emergency" powers as Illinois Governor allow him to close businesses and schools for an unlimited duration of time.?Unfortunately, the Democratic leaders of the Illinois General Assembly have done nothing to limit the powers of Governor Pritzker and his administrative agencies.?

It is up to the citizens of Illinois to demand adoption of a constitutional amendment that will adequately define what constitutes an emergency and limit its duration.?Show your support for this idea and sign our petition here?to demand that a constitutional amendment be placed on the ballot in 2022 to limit executive emergency powers.
