John -- Republicans are so confident in their ability to rig the maps this year that they are openly plotting about how to oust vulnerable Democratic House members through gerrymandering. Here are three of the Democrats they want to get rid of:

According to Politico, the New Hampshire GOP is "experimenting with new maps that pack [Rep. Pappas'] district with red towns and shove blue pockets into the seat next door." Republicans in Georgia want to do something similar with Rep. McBath's district; one strategist said, "We've got a chunk of Republican voters we can put back in [that district]."
And in Kansas, one of Rep. Davids' potential opponents actually chairs the state House committee that will redraw the lines of her district! The congresswoman told Politico, "I feel like [Republicans are] out there saying, 'If you can't beat them, cheat them.'"
She's exactly right, John. This is cheating, plain and simple. It's determining the outcome of an election before a single vote is cast. And we have to fight it with everything we have.
