Join Us for Trivia Night!

For over 20 years, the International Day for Biological Diversity has
served as a reminder that biodiversity is an integral component in
building a strong foundation for climate solutions, public health,
sustainable livelihoods, and food and water security.

To celebrate this year's Day for Biological Diversity, we are
thrilled to be partnering with the Center for Biological Diversity for
a VIRTUAL Trivia Night! Questions will focus on endangered species,
family planning, and green actions. Members of the winning team will
take home a copy of Overdevelopment, Overpopulation, Overshoot. We
hope you'll be able to join us on Thursday, May 27th at 7:00pm
ET/4:00pm PT!

National Women's Health Week

Earlier this month, we celebrated National Women's Health
Week by sitting down for a conversation with Sonya Young Aadam, the
CEO of the California Black Women's Health Project. Population
Connection Communications Manager Hannah Evans and Sonya discussed
structural barriers Black women in particular face in regards to
health equity, and the ways in which systems of oppression and racism
have contributed to disparities in health outcomes for Black women in
California and throughout the United States.

We hope you'll take the time to view the recording and hear Sonya's
valuable insights.
