When families and children flee danger, violence, and persecution, they deserve compassion, protection, and safety. They deserve a warm welcome with dignity.
But since Trump’s zero tolerance policy, thousands of families and children --several who were seeking asylum-- were detained, separated, and shipped miles across the country, never to be reunited. Children were torn from their families because of our cruel and broken system, but we have the power, determination, and love in our hearts to fix it.

John, it’s time to put an end to an immigration system that separates children from parents, and banishes families and children seeking asylum to conditions more dangerous than the ones they risked their lives to flee from. We need an immigration system that centers compassion, care, and dignity.
