When we say there is no such thing as an off-year at DFA, we mean it.

That’s why we are thrilled to announce that DFA’s Text Out The Vote program is back.

That’s right, our highly successful texting program which helped us kick Trump out of office, hold the House, and win back the Senate is starting up again, this time to ensure that we keep Virginia blue and elect a progressive as Governor.

DFA is now kicking our work into full gear as we prepare to elect three statewide standout progressive candidates and several state legislative candidates in Virginia.

And with Virginia’s June 8th primary right around the corner, there is no time to waste.

It takes a big, grassroots-led team to contact hundreds of thousands of voters. So, whether you’re an experienced texter with DFA or are signing up for your first ever texting shift, we need you to join our team of incredible volunteers by signing up for a shift (or several shifts) between now and Virginia’s June 8th primary >>

During our 2020’s Protect America's Vote campaign, we made over 7,257,098 voter contacts to infrequent voters and newly registered voters in 13 key states. And in January’s Georgia runoff alone, in a little over one month, DFA members made 3 million voter contacts with infrequent or newly registered voters.

Our hard work during the 2020 elections and the 2021 Georgia runoff led to an incredible turnout and it proved that our strategy works.

That’s why DFA is using this strategy to help elect Jennifer Carroll Foy for Governor, Sam Rasoul for Lieutenant Governor, and Jay Jones for Attorney General, and several state legislative candidates across Virginia.

While Democrats may have a pretty good shot at winning these elections in Virginia, we cannot settle for just any Democrat -- it’s about electing progressive Democrats.

It’s about the Democrats who will fight for Medicare for All and the Green New Deal. It’s about Democrats who will protect a woman’s right to choose, fight for multiracial inclusive populism, and take on Wall Street, corporate banks, and insurance companies.

Our team is fighting hard to elect progressive Democrats in states across the country. We’re laying down the critical groundwork to win, but it takes a whole lot of resources -- time, people, and money -- to win.
