Rep. Jake Auchincloss has only been in Congress for four months, but he’s already obstructing like he’s been there for decades.
Rep. Auchincloss organized a letter full of Big Pharma talking points, urging Speaker Pelosi to go easy on Big Pharma and scale back the ambition of Congress’s legislation to lower drug prices. Now, after we sent a billboard truck to Rep. Auchincloss’ district office to let his constituents know what he’s doing, he’s hiding behind a fake concern for seniors1―and lying about his real positions.
Our billboard is working! It SHOULD be uncomfortable for a member of Congress to side with Big Pharma corporations against their constituents. Chip in $5 to keep our billboard on the road all over Rep. Auchincloss’ district!
Today, we stopped by The Herald News in Fall River, MA, one of the biggest papers in his district: 
What Rep. Auchincloss is doing is ripped directly from the Republican playbook: Feigning concern for a small group to block reforms that would help everyone. It’s the exact same tactic that Donald Trump used to attack Medicare for All, and Rep. Auchincloss should be ashamed of himself.
His concern-trolling statements mirror the way Republicans who defend the status quo obstruct the Biden administration’s infrastructure plans, by pushing for narrow solutions to systemic problems. This lets him pretend he’s standing up for seniors when he’s really standing up for a status quo that harms seniors.
Lowering drug prices for everyone helps seniors most of all. We can’t let Big Pharma’s minions like Jake Auchincloss use seniors as a human shield to preserve Pharma profits! Chip in $5 to keep the heat on in his district!

Democrats won unified control of the U.S. government with a promise to take on Big Pharma and lower the prices Americans pay for prescription drugs. Joe Biden is fighting for it, leaders in both Houses of Congress are fighting for it, but one Democrat is whipping votes against it.
Meet Rep. Jake Auchincloss, who is standing up for Big Pharma’s right to price gouge Americans.
Rep. Auchincloss is a first-year Rep, who took over Rep. Joe Kennedy’s seat this January. He organized a letter with nine Pharma-loving colleagues, telling Nancy Pelosi that they would kill any bill to lower drug prices that Big Pharma doesn’t approve.1 But here’s the problem: If Big Pharma wanted lower drug prices, they could just charge less.
So, it’s very simple: Rep. Jake Auchincloss is blocking efforts to lower your drug prices, and we want his constituents to know that. So we’ve hired a truck to park in front of his (though he hasn’t bothered to replace Rep. Kennedy’s name on the sign) district office today:
We want to keep this truck driving around Rep. Auchincloss’ district until he agrees that drug prices are too high―can you chip in $5 to let his constituents know that this first-year Democrat is already in Big Pharma’s pocket?
