We need your help!

Due to repressive legislation passed last year, the Green Party of New York will need to collect 45,000 signatures next year, to place our candidates for Governor, Lt. Governor, Attorney General and Comptroller on the ballot.  This is triple the previous requirement of 15,000 signatures.  This is necessary because the same repressive legislation took away ballot access from most New York political parties.  As a result, we must now collect signatures on a petition, in order for our candidates to qualify for placement on the ballot.

This is going to require mobilization across the board, and will very likely require us to hire people to collect signatures in order to meet the threshold.  We’ve done this before, when we were a smaller party without access to the ballot, but next year it will be a big lift.  We need your help to make sure voters in New York have a choice.  We need your help to make sure democracy works.
