In case you missed this from MSNBC: “Palm Beach County State Attorney Dave Aronberg said Gov. Ron DeSantis cannot unilaterally block former President Donald Trump from being extradited to New York if he is indicted on criminal charges.”

Law enforcement officials in Florida's Palm Beach County are already preparing for the possibility that Manhattan's District Attorney, Cyrus Vance Junior, will indict Trump for bank and tax fraud while he's hiding at Mar-a-Lago.

But there's a narrow window for Vance to act since he's expected to retire this year and, as Rachel Maddow quotes, “Trump has already demonstrated a willingness to engage in unthinkable tactics to protect himself.”

The Republican Senate failed to hold Trump accountable for the insurrection, but now is the perfect time to indict him before he incites more violence.

That's why, as we continue to seek accountability for this failed president, we need to know if the American people believe DA Vance should act immediately.
