Friends,

The federal minimum wage is $7.25, and it has been that amount since 2009.

You read that right: The federal minimum wage hasn't increased from $7.25 since 2009. That's over 10 years of no increase in pay to America’s workers, despite the cost of merely living rapidly increasing.

Take a look at a list of things that have gone up in price since 2009, while the minimum wage has stayed the same since then:

List of things that have raised in price since 2009 // A house, $290,300 to $362,700 | Insulin, $93 to $290+ | Bacon, $3.50 per lb to $5.50 per lb | Gasoline, $1.78 per gallon to $2.62 per gallon | Airfare (domestic) $309.66 to $402.09

Let's put it simply: people cannot afford to live off the current minimum wage.

Antonio supports raising the minimum wage and fights for the dignity our workers have long deserved.

Antonio cares about our working class -- and will never stop fighting for them. Let's make sure members of Congress like Antonio continue to have a voice so we can finally raise the minimum wage. If you're able, please make a donation to our end-of-month fundraiser.

Antonio has always fought for Americans to be paid a living wage in order to support themselves and their families. We’re right behind him in this fight.

Thanks for your continued support,

Team Delgado
