Hey John — wanted to make sure you knew about a just-introduced piece of legislation that would help save some of the most imperiled species in the United States.
SEEC member Rep. Raúl M. Grijalva proposed the Extinction Prevention Act of 2021 that would provide funding for species that are on the verge of extinction.
Specifically, the bill would target endangered species that often fall “under the radar” including North American butterflies, various Pacific Island plants, freshwater mussels, and Southwest desert fish.
SEEC members are leading the way when it comes to protecting our endangered species, but we need your help to support our members. Will you pitch in to our Action Fund today? [[link removed]]
