Friend of Israel,


For now, the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas appears to be holding.


Israelis can breathe a sigh of relief—no longer running to bomb shelters or wondering where the next rocket will land.


The past two weeks demonstrated what is possible when the U.S.-Israel relationship is strong—a byproduct of our work together.


Iron Dome saved countless lives, the Jewish state acted to defend its citizens, Democrats and Republicans in Congress weighed in with strong statements of support, and President Biden worked closely with Israel to achieve a ceasefire.


But our work remains especially important as some in Congress are committed to undermining the U.S.-Israel relationship—even as Israelis face the danger of new terrorist assaults.

That is why I am asking for your help, so that America and Israel will be prepared for whatever new dangers emerge tomorrow.
