John,

In just four weeks, New Yorkers will be voting in the most consequential primary election in decades—all 51 seats in the New York City’s legislative body have an election this year. Together these elected officials decide on the fate of all aspects of civic life big and small, including: policing, housing, street safety and so much more. Now, it’s up to us to seize the opportunity to reclaim our power and to rebuild our city with the goal of securing vibrant futures for all New Yorkers.

Ensure that your voice is heard by voting in this election! Submit your voter registration through May 28. Absentee ballot requests are also available until June 15! If you vote absentee, you can track your ballot online. Early voting is also available from June 12 through June 20 at your assigned poll site.

The COVID-19 pandemic has revealed that there is still so much work we must do to protect the rights of immigrants. Your vote affects the priorities and actions of elected officials, determining the future of immigration in New York. Help create an equitable and just New York for all by voting in the primary election on June 22! Your vote is critical to advancing immigrants’ rights across the state and to building power for our diverse communities.

In power,
