John,
Our most treasured public lands and historic national parks are in danger of being destroyed forever by out-of-control fracking and drilling.
The Trump Administration is planning to open over one million acres of federal public lands to new drilling and fracking projects!
The proposed plan will take aim at some of California’s beautiful lands including Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, several designated wilderness areas, and national wildlife refuges.1,2
Tell the Trump Administration: Don’t destroy our public lands!

Fracking injects millions of gallons of toxic fluid – a mix of water, sand, and harsh chemicals – into the ground to fracture rock and release the oil or gas trapped within it.3 Toxic waste spills, air pollution, earthquakes, and drinking water contamination are just a few of the consequences from fracking and drilling for oil and gas.
Fracking is NOT acceptable on our public lands, around our national parks, or anywhere across the country. YOU can stop this from happening.
Tell Trump: Protect Our Public Lands

Trump proclaimed that he’ll make the country ‘energy dominant’ and his intention is clear: frack away our lands and communities so that the industry can profit, while emissions continue to wreck the climate, pollute our air, and poison our water. We can’t let these beautiful places be ruined just to fatten Big Oil and Gas profits!
Together, let’s give it our all in the fight to keep our most precious and unspoiled places from being fracked away. We need to fight like we live here. Join us and other organizations in rejecting the Trump administration’s plan to turn our public lands over to Big Oil and Gas.
