Friends, 

As of this week, more than 2.5 million Minnesotans have completed their vaccine series, and severe COVID-19 illness across the country is at its lowest rate in over a year.

Minnesotans know how to look out for each other, and I can’t thank you enough for doing your part to keep your family members, friends, and neighbors safe.

But even as we round this final corner just in time for summer, we still have to stick together. Two GOP opponents have already launched campaigns against me, including a well-known COVID-19 denier whose false claims helped fuel some of the most widespread conspiracy theories health care leaders had to battle over the past year

Team, it would be unimaginable to give in to the politics of misinformation and fear now after coming this close to putting all of this behind us.
