Hi John,

I’ve had a really great response to my email earlier this week about Arthur. If you didn’t see it, here’s a quick summary.

Arthur is an antifascist hero. Arthur is someone who volunteered to go undercover in the BNP in the 1990s. Working with him, we were able to wreak havoc on the fascist party. Information Arthur supplied helped the police catch the London nail bomber.

But there was one thing Arthur never asked for back then. Recognition. Arthur told no-one about what he was really doing. Even family members thought he’d become a neo-nazi. He could have claimed some of the £70,000 nail bomber reward, but Arthur didn’t want any publicity.

It’s time to say thank you to Arthur. We’ve set up a page where you can leave a message of thanks. He’s a humble hero, and I know that our messages of thanks will mean a lot.

At the weekend, I am going to get them nicely printed and bound and I am going to give them to Arthur as a token of our thanks.

And don’t forget, if you have Netflix, the new documentary about the London nail bombings comes out today.

Thanks,

Nick
