Dear John

Today, we celebrate our 50th anniversary.

That marks 50 years of us campaigning alongside local communities to protect people and the planet. We’re proud to say that we’ve been taking on the giants and winning battles for a better world from the very beginning. No matter how improbable winning seemed at the time.

Against the odds, we’ve achieved so much together. From stopping fracking and protecting bees to introducing doorstep recycling and securing the world’s first climate act. We've rallied together in the face of the climate emergency and refused to stand for the destruction of our home.

Our supporters are the driving force behind what we do, so thank you so much for standing with us.

No matter the odds, we won’t give up. People all over the world are already suffering the impacts of the climate and nature emergencies and we’re running out of time. So now is a crucial moment to think about how we protect the next generation.

Will you consider going even further and becoming a Friends of the Earth member by setting up a regular donation? We don’t have another 50 years to save the planet. If there was ever a time to join us as a member, it’s now.
I'LL BECOME A MEMBER
In the coming years, donations will help us campaign for a world that benefits everyone. From fighting climate-wrecking projects in court to securing laws that protect nature. And pushing the government to plan for a green and fair recovery as we move on from the pandemic.

Become a member and, in years to come, you’ll be able to say “I was on the right side of history. I took action for our planet.” Every month you can help fund our ground-breaking work. Join us as a member and be part of the solution.
I'LL BECOME A MEMBER
Thank you, as always, for everything you’ve done so far.

All the best,

Aleanna Shaughnessy
