I used to have a minimum wage job,
John.

When I worked full time as a domestic worker during the day, I also needed
to work a part time cleaning job at night to make ends meet. I did that
for three years, and I know I’m not alone.

Millions of women with minimum wage jobs — especially low-wage workers in
the service industry — are living paycheck to paycheck to afford rent,
groceries, child care, and basic living expenses. What’s even worse is
that the last time Congress even raised the national minimum wage was in
2009.

Minimum wage workers need a raise, and we’re willing to do whatever it
takes to get it. That’s why Women’s March is teaming up with One Fair Wage
and Sunrise Movement for our largest action yet: A Wage Strike.

Tomorrow, in cities across the country, tipped workers are striking for
fair wages for ALL. It’s time to come together in key states to show state
and federal leaders that workers want to work, but they won’t do it for

Be a part of a historic moment as restaurant workers ramp up the fight to
win a $15 minimum wage for all workers, including tipped workers, this
