First, the GOP spread the Big Lie until it came to head on January 6th and nearly shut down an Electoral College certification.
Then, they defended Trump for months to appease far-right voters and donors.
And now, they won’t investigate an invasion of the Capitol building because they themselves might be implicated in causing it!
GOP legislators won’t investigate an attack on their workplace and families because of potential political consequences. We cannot trust them to run unbiased elections.
