Folks,

Congressional Democrats have a 100% vaccination rate -- but thanks to the GOP’s unvaccinated Q-Knucklehead caucus, we are still asked to wear masks on the House floor.

In light of all the suffering our country has been through during this past year, wearing a mask is literally the least you can do.

But last week, the members of the House GOP’s Q-Knucklehead caucus didn’t just refuse to wear masks. No, they proudly took selfies of themselves on the floor and completely disregarded nonpartisan staff members who tried to get them to show even an ounce of courtesy.

They are cowards who disgrace our chamber and embarrass our country. But here’s the thing: their dangerous "own the libs" shtick won’t be shut down by Democratic colleagues telling them to show some class.

The worst of the GOP don’t need a teachable moment -- they need a resounding defeat for their entire party this election and every one after. Let’s give it to ‘em -- chip in to power our campaign to defend IL-06 and our Democratic House majority!

Not a single member of the GOP leadership spoke up to remind those knuckleheads what a rare and fleeting gift it is to serve your country as just one of 537 people elected to federal office.

Not a single member of the GOP leadership believes that the dignity of this office is something to be treasured.

Kevin McCarthy and crew let the charade continue.

Americans deserve so much better than their toxic brew of cowardice and complicity.
