Here’s the truth, folks —

I believe we have a responsibility to create an economy that works for every American worker, not just those at the very top.

That’s why I’m fighting so hard in the Senate right now to advance legislation to raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour.

It has been over a decade since working families have seen a much-deserved wage increase from the federal government.

That is unacceptable.

Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans are blocking us from putting more money in the pockets of American workers. The GOP has stymied more than 500 bills — I’m not exaggerating — and the only way we can stop them is if we all speak up and work together to make sure this bill passes.
