Last month East Bay DSA canvassers knocked over 3,000 doors across Oakland in support of Bernie Sanders! A Yuuge thanks to all those who turned out to talk with our community and build a movement for an economy, society, and world that works for everyone, not just the billionaires! We’re keeping that momentum going next weekend — we knocked on 1,700 doors at the last canvass and we want to double that this time around!

We’ll be spreading the word about Bernie Sanders and his groundbreaking Housing for All platform <[link removed]>: a visionary set of policies including national rent control, major investment in new social housing, an end to predatory lending, redlining, and gentrification, and a plan to end homelessness in America within five years.
Bernie understands that a housing market built for profit, and not human need is exactly why large parts of the country are mired in an affordable housing crisis. This rings especially true in the Bay Area, and we want to talk to folks about it. Bernie’s Housing for All plan would transform how we think about housing, and guarantee a home as a human right, not a privilege.
Bernie’s policies are inspiring, and we know from experience that for many, the next step to getting involved in building our diverse, working-class movement is to meet someone face-to-face who is ready to have a conversation about the issues that impact them and the solutions they are so excited about! That person can be you, your friends and family!
