As we reflect on the Hamas rocket attacks on Israel over the past two weeks, one thing is clear: the U.S.-Israel relationship is more important than ever. Sadly, a small but vocal chorus in Congress condemned Israel and some even sought to cut security aid to Israel as Hamas was launching thousands of rockets on Israeli civilians. What can we do to stand up for the U.S.-Israel relationship? 

We can make sure we elect pro-Israel candidates who will support Israel’s right to defend itself when attacked AND defeat candidates who blame Israel and make excuses for Hamas terrorism.  

You can help. In Ohio, there’s a special election to replace a member of Congress who became Secretary of Housing and Urban Development. In that race, one of the two top candidates -- Shontel Brown -- is solidly pro-Israel. Her opponent wants to join the Squad and show solidarity with groups that attack Israel.  

Here is what that opponent, Nina Turner, was saying as rockets were flying at Israeli civilians:

By promoting the lie that Israel engages in “apartheid”, Nina Turner is doing her best to attack the U.S.-Israel relationship. She doesn’t get it. Period. 

But what should we expect from somebody who wants to join “The Squad” in Congress?

Turner’s solidarity with those who attack Israel mirrored comments by Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and others who wrongly claim Israel is an apartheid state. They would abandon Israel in the face of Hamas terror.  

Moments like this are why this race is SO IMPORTANT. 

Pro-Israel America has endorsed Shontel Brown (D-OH) in the race to represent Ohio’s 11th District. The primary is August 3rd of this year, and the winner of the primary will likely be the next member of Congress.

We need YOU to make sure Congress protects the U.S.-Israel relationship by electing Shontel Brown.  

A true supporter of the U.S.-Israel relationship, Brown stands firmly with Israel’s right to defend itself.

“Hamas’s massive rocket attacks are deeply troubling and must stop,” Brown added. “Hamas is placing civilians on both sides at risk. Israel has the right to defend its citizens in the face of these attacks. Israeli families should never have to spend the night in a bomb shelter.”

We need to stand up to the “blame Israel” caucus.

We need YOUR support to make sure Shontel Brown gets elected.

Councilwoman Brown faces an EXTREMELY competitive race against someone who wants to be the next member of the Squad. 

We need to make sure Shontel Brown has the resources to WIN in August. This election could go either way, and YOUR support could be the difference.
