Dear John,
The clock is ticking on our $50,000 One-Week Match Challenge. Don't miss your chance to have TWICE the impact on our work to provide care and support to the more than 6 million Americans living with Alzheimer's disease and to advance research into finding a cure. Help us fight Alzheimer's by joining this generous match with your gift now, before the offer expires on May 31.
This match opportunity is made possible by the generosity of David H. Crean, whose father was diagnosed with Alzheimer's five years ago after showing signs that included losing his train of thought, having difficulty staying focused and feeling increasingly overwhelmed. We work to ensure that one day, no one will have to face the ultimate thief of memories, independence, control, time and, ultimately, life.
In honor of his father, David has pledged to match all gifts, up to a total of $50,000 — but only until the end of this month. While David's gift will go toward Alzheimer's research, your donation can go 2X as far to enhance care and support and accelerate global research.
"Please know that you are not alone in the fight. Seek out resources that are available to help you manage and get through this devastating condition."
— David H. Crean

As urgent as the Alzheimer's crisis is today, it's expected to grow exponentially over the next decade. Between now and 2025, every state in the United States is expected to see an increase in the number of people aged 65 and over living with Alzheimer's. The projected increase could be as high as 33.3%.
That means we will need more caregiver support groups. More education programs. More early-detection initiatives. More research into risk reduction and prevention.
And that all requires you to take action during our $50,000 One-Week Match Challenge. Will you help us provide care and support, advance critical research and meet this challenge by making your first gift to the Alzheimer's Association now?
With such a limited time to take advantage of this generous $50,000 match challenge, the time to act is now. Your support, while it can make 2X the impact, is critical to furthering our mission as we lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.
Sincerely,
Donna McCullough
Chief Field and Development Officer
P.S. By giving today, you'll help bring us closer to our vision of a world without Alzheimer's and all other dementia. Please don't miss this incredible $50,000 match opportunity when you can double your impact on our vital work.
