It's nearly been a full year since George Floyd was murdered by Minneapolis police. To honor his memory and carry his legacy, the George Floyd Memorial Foundation will host a series of community-based events May 23rd through May 25th.

These events are meant to bring communities together -- whether or not you're in Minneapolis. Check it out:



On Sunday, May 23rd (in Minneapolis): The George Floyd Memorial Foundation will host a peaceful rally and march in downtown Minneapolis -- led by George's family, as well as other families of victims of police violence. For more details, you can visit the official rally and march event page here.

On Monday, May 24th and Tuesday, May 25th (virtual): We're having a virtual day of action -- and no matter where you are, you can participate. The foundation will be providing ways to call for action and have a positive impact while we demand justice everywhere. You can access the Virtual Day of Action toolkit here.

On Tuesday, May 25th (in Minneapolis): We're celebrating our Blackness through Black culture, art, history, and more -- all while supporting our local businesses with a food truck and vendor station. There will be musical performances, special guests, and most importantly -- it'll be a beautiful day of celebration honoring George Floyd. Here's the official event page with more details.
