Hi John, I want to hear
from you.
Last
week, the Supreme Court accepted a case regarding a 2018
Mississippi law banning abortion after 15 weeks. With a
conservative supermajority on the court, abortion rights are now
facing the greatest threat in decades.
Not only is this dangerous for abortion rights,
it’s a symptom of a larger problem in our courts. We have too few
judges at all levels of the judiciary, which is why I’ve already
introduced legislation to expand the Supreme Court to 13 seats,
and support expanding our lower courts throughout the country.
I’m taking action right now, but I want to hear
from you: Do you think that expanding the Supreme Court is more
urgent than ever?

NO

For decades, Congress worked together to grow our
judicial system when required. But for too long, partisanship has
stalled any effort to expand the courts to meet the needs of
Americans.
Courts in the U.S. have been taking fewer and fewer
cases over the past few decades, and the cases they do take are
more politically motivated. When the Supreme Court accepted the
case potentially restricting abortion, they declined to take up a
case about racial slurs in the workplace.

I always want to hear from my supporters on
important issues. Do you think we need urgent action on court
reform?
