Comrades,

Thank you to everyone who made our 2021 Convention a big success! Now that our week of voting has concluded we’re excited to announce the results of our membership’s decision. At the convention, we adopted the following four Organizational Priorities for the coming year:

• Center Black and Brown Liberation Movements
• Class Struggle Elections
• Focus on Onboarding and Providing Tools for Membership Empowerment
• Rank-and-File Labor Support and Solidarity

The full text of our new chapter priorities and platform will be released on our website shortly.

2021 Steering Committee

East Bay DSA’s Steering Committee handles much of the day-to-day organizing and administrative work of the chapter. Each year we elect a group of our trusted comrades to support the important work that our chapter does to organize the working class; running and carrying out this role is a heavy lift, so a sincere thank you to everyone who ran! 2021 National Convention Delegates and Alternates

Every two years, DSA holds a National Convention with delegates elected from across the country to debate the politics and direction of our organization.

This year, East Bay will send 38 delegates, and has designate 8 alternates who will take the place of delegates who were unable to attend. Delegates were determined by the first 38 winners to cross the STV winner's threshold. Our alternates are the subsequent 8 winners, listed in order of their final vote count. Full election results will be released via OpaVote shortly.
