Ken Buck was recently quoted following the GOP’s purge of Rep. Liz Cheney from the ranks of their leadership saying that “Liz Cheney was cancelled for speaking her mind and disagreeing with” Trump. However, he then immediately turned around and voted against a bipartisan-negotiated bill to establish a January 6th Commission to investigate the Capitol insurrection.
This is head-spinning political hypocrisy—something we’ve tragically come to expect from Rep. Buck.
The one who truly needs to be cancelled is Ken Buck himself: someone who nurtures, supports, and encourages the toxic mixture of white supremacy, disinformation, and downright lies that lead to violent uprisings like the January 6th insurrection.
