We have so much to celebrate this month! Join us in honoring educators, and celebrating Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage, Haitian Heritage, and Jewish Heritage! And in the spirit of Ubuntu, we remember that we are because you are.
In Memoriam: Dudley Williams
Our hearts are heavy as we mourn the passing of Dudley Williams, former Board Chair of the Nellie Mae Education Foundation. In his 12 years of service at the organization, Dudley was instrumental in shaping the foundation’s direction in rethinking how, when, and where learning happened. He dedicated his life to the service of others, especially in the Stamford, Connecticut community and public school system.

"We need anti-racist white teachers, co-strategists and laborers in this work who are open to being deeply self-reflective about how to be the most effective at teaching Black and Brown children."
Graduation season is upon us. There is no denying that the impact of COVID-19 has presented even more obstacles for many high school students and families when it comes to life after secondary school.
