John,

Donald Trump’s presidency exposed the cracks in the Republican party -- and even now that he’s out of the White House, his hold over the GOP is still a threat to our democracy.

Earlier this month, my colleagues across the aisle stripped Rep. Liz Cheney, a true conservative in every way -- and the daughter of a former Republican vice president -- from her position of leadership in the party, all because she refused to endorse the big lie that Trump won the presidential election.

And just last week, 175 House Republicans voted against a bipartisan plan to form a commission to investigate the Trump-inspired insurrection on January 6th.

John, Republicans aren’t making a secret of the fact that their top priority as a party is supporting a twice-impeached, corrupt ex-president -- and that they’ll do anything to keep Trump supporters on their side.

We simply can’t risk losing our Democratic House majority to a party that spreads lies about most fundamental facts and stands by conspiracy theorists in their ranks. Please, chip in a donation right now to help hold WA-01 -- and the House of Representatives -- in 2022.
