Dear John,

Thanks to the NHS Borders team at Borders Event Centre in Kelso, I have now had my first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine. I am delighted to be vaccinated as I know it is another step back to normality and helps to protect me and my fellow Borderers.

It has been a mammoth effort to get to this point. From the scientists around the world creating new vaccines in record time, to the NHS staff jabbing hundreds of thousands of people a day, and to the Armed Forces and logistical staff who make it all possible. All deserve our thanks.

Across the UK, over 60 million doses have been administered, with over 22 million people having had both doses. Here in the Borders, well over 60% of people have had at least one dose so far.

If you have not yet had your vaccine, or think you have been missed, you can use these links below, or get in touch with me and I'll be happy to help out.
