Movies in the Park 2021

Get out and enjoy free movies for the family starting Thursday, June 3

Summer?s here! Get out with the family and enjoy a season of free movies in the park beginning Thursday, June 3, in Oswego at the site of the new Oswego Entertainment Venue, 1010 Station Drive.

This year?s Movies in the Park series offers two options for movies-goers ? a drive-in style experience and spots in front for an outdoor experience. Cars will be parked in every space in the drive-in portion of the event, and space down in front of the screen will be available for those who prefer to bring their own chairs and sit under the stars.

Movies in the Park are free, and no registration is required. Spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Bring your own lawn chairs for outdoor seating, which will be in the parking lot in front of the big screen.

No food trucks will be on site, but attendees are invited to bring their own food and drinks. (Alcoholic beverages are prohibited.) Portable restrooms and sinks will be provided. Attendees are asked to follow all CDC health and safety guidance in place the day of the show.

The 2021 Movies in the Park season includes:

* Thursday, June 3: *The Croods ? A New Age* (2020). The Croods have survived their fair share of dangers and disasters, from fanged prehistoric beasts to the end of the world, but now they face their biggest challenge of all ? another family. Rated ages 8+ by Common Sense Media.
* Thursday, July 8: *Raya and the Last Dragon* (2021). Travel to the fantasy world of Kumandra, where humans and dragons once lived in harmony, and where, when an evil force threatened the land dragons sacrificed themselves for humanity. Now, 500 years later that same evil has returned and it?s up to Raya to track down the legendary last dragon to restore the fractured land. Rated ages 8+ by Common Sense Media.
* Thursday, July 22: *Trolls World Tour* (2020). When the Queen of Hard Rock Trolls tries to take over all the Troll kingdoms, Queen Poppy and her friends set out to visit all the other Troll lands to unify the Trolls in harmony in this fun, colorful adventure. Rated ages 6+ by Common Sense Media.
* Thursday, August 26: *The Greatest Showman* (2017). The birth of show business itself is celebrated in this biopic about the life of P.T. Barnum, the visionary who rose from nothing to create a spectacle that became a worldwide sensation. Rated ages 10+ by Common Sense Media.

All movies begin at twilight, between approximately 8:30 and 8:50 p.m. Entry starts at 7 p.m. at the new Oswego Entertainment Venue (at the site of the former Park N Ride lot), 1010 Station Drive.
