Yesterday, Greg Abbott said “Texans, not government, should decide their best health practices” when banning mask orders.
Today, Greg Abbott signed a law banning abortions after detection of a fetal heartbeat as early as six weeks.
Abbott and the Texas GOP have been on a roll lately passing some of the most restrictive, right-wing legislation in the country but this is one of the worst.
We need 1,000 Texans to stand up and condemn Abbott’s abortion ban. Will you add your name to our petition?
At a time when Roe V Wade is about to be challenged in a conservative-leaning Supreme Court, Abbott and the Texas GOP have passed one of the strictest abortion laws in the country -- stopping just short of an outright abortion ban.
It’s disturbing that Abbott thinks he needs to make health care decisions for millions of Texans. Let’s stand up and condemn this law and work to defeat Greg Abbott in 2022.
