The Prince of Wales has long been a supporter of our work and a strong champion of the need to combat malaria, a disease that still kills a child every two minutes.
At a dedicated Malaria Summit at the time of the 2018 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in London, His Royal Highness spoke of the need for immediate action to combat malaria:
“I've been lucky enough to travel throughout the Commonwealth and have only too often witnessed at first hand the devastation that malaria can wreak on communities… Combating malaria is, without doubt, an issue of truly global urgency and I’m encouraged and inspired to see how real the determination of the international community is to overcome this dreadful disease.

** Draw The Line Against Malaria on Africa Day with MTV
------------------------------------------------------------
Tomorrow is Africa Day, an opportunity to recognise successes from every corner of Africa in overcoming shared challenges like malaria. Zero Malaria is uniting people and communities from across the African continent in support of the Draw The Line Against Malaria campaign.
MTV Base is getting behind the movement as part of this year’s virtual Africa Day Concert happening tomorrow night! The concert will help raise awareness,engaging young people to get behind the malaria fight and end this deadly disease within a generation.
