Two things happened this past week that are giving us real concern about next year.

 

1. The so-called "audit" of Arizona's election has gotten even more absurd, with former President Trump falsely claiming voter databases were deleted. 

2. Republicans in Congress are refusing to participate in a bipartisan investigation into the January 6th assault on the Capitol that injured police officers.

As depressing as it is to say, Republicans are demonstrating they will tell any lie and excuse any behavior if they believe it will help them win.
