Isn't it great to have a president in the White House who cares about people and a Congress that works with him in the U.S. Capitol? In just a few months we've already passed a recovery plan that's helping families and small businesses bounce back from the pandemic and we’re working on so much more, including infrastructure, democracy reform and justice in policing.

This didn't happen on its own. It happened because millions of Democrats like you worked so hard to elect public officials who will fight for us. You did it in 2020 and now I'm asking you to do it again. My friend Senator Maggie Hassan is up for reelection and needs our support so she can help Democrats keep making progress in Washington.

I won't sugarcoat it: Maggie's election is going to be tough. In 2020 New Hampshire voters reelected a Republican governor and gave the GOP control of the state legislature. And Maggie won her last election by just over a thousand votes.

So she's going to need all the help we can give – and it couldn't be more important because Democrats can't afford to lose a single seat if we want to keep the Senate.

Maggie is one of the most effective senators I’ve worked with. She's introduced more than 50 bipartisan bills addressing issues like lowering health care costs, investing in clean energy and helping our veterans. She played a critical role in delivering pandemic relief to the American people. And she's going to help us keep pushing for an agenda that keeps us on the path to progress.
