Right now, there isn't a single Black woman in the U.S. Senate. This is unacceptable, and The Collective is determined to change that in 2022.

For next week's speaker series, we'll be joined by Higher Heights for America's President & CEO, Glynda Carr, and Democracy for America's CEO, Yvette Simpson. Together, we will be discussing:

  • The history of Black women in the U.S. Senate;
  • The importance of Black women representation moving forward; and,
  • Strategies to incorporate as we prepare for upcoming elections.

Team, we hope you'll join us as we look toward #ElectingTheNext Black woman to the U.S. Senate. The road to victory starts now. You can RSVP for the event at this link:

We want activists like you with us every step of the way, including at our series next Thursday. RSVP now so we'll know you'll be there.

Onward,

The Collective Team
