John xxxxxx,

Spring is in the air. Vaccinations are up. People are out and about. And starting tomorrow evening, the New York Knicks are back in the playoffs for the first time in eight long years.

Things are finally getting back to normal.

I cannot wait to see Madison Square Garden popping for this Knicks playoff run. Our city needs it.

But as we celebrate all of the progress we have made (and the Knicks’ long-overdue return to the postseason), we can’t lose sight of the work we still have ahead of us.

We must continue our efforts to expand affordable health care, build our economy back stronger and fairer than ever before, and protect the people’s voice in our democracy.

In order to do that, I am counting on your continued support. If you can, please consider making a small contribution today to help power our fight for progress:

Thank you for all that you do. Together, we’re putting our country back on track and delivering real change to the American people.

Keep the faith,

— Hakeem

P.S. Atlanta’s not ready for a playoff crowd at the Garden. Knicks in six.
